WARRANT ISSUED FOR LOHAN

A judge has issued a Bench Warrant for Lindsay Lohan’s arrest.  The warrant comes after Lohan did not appear in court. Lindsay Lohan claims that she lost her passport and therefore was turned away from getting on a flight to make her court appearance. Judge Revel was not buying. Judge said she felt that Lohan should have been able to get a new passport and make it to court. She new that a warrant would be issued if she did not comply with he judges demands.

Judge Revel set bail at $100,000 and said Lindsay can post bail and remain free until the next court hearing, as long as she does the following:

- Drink no alcohol
- Wear a SCRAM bracelet
- Submit to random drug testing at least once a week

Lindsey’s Lawyer tells Judge Revel that there is no reason for drug testing.  Revel states that since Lohan was arrested in 2007 with cocaine charges it will be a requirement.  Judge Revel believes Lohan to have a serious drug and alcohol problem.  Lindsay’s lawyer did confirm that she had only completed 10 of her 13 required alcohol ed classes.  This i a violation of her probation, she can be jailed for 180 days.
