TALIBAN SUICIDE BOMB

Taliban Suicide Bomb hits a NATO convoy in Afghan, killing 6 troops of

which 5 were American. Twelve Afghan Civilians were also killed in the

blast.

This has been the deadliest attack on NATO since September. The blast d

esptroyed at least 2o vehicles.  Car parts and body parts were thrown

across the boulevard. The last attack in February, suicide bombers

attacked in 2 small hotels and killed 16 people as a result.

“There were casualties among the NATO forces as well as among civilians — women, children and schoolchildren,” Karzai told a news conference.

The sites were that of a horrific natures. One man on his way to work says

there was a woman laying on the ground with no head, while another

talks about the woman thrown and smashed onto the window of their bus.

The NATO Secretary General says that this will not deter them of what

they are there for and will remain committed to their mission in Afghan.

Their mission to protect the people against such attacks.
