RONNIE JAMES DIO DIES

Music legend Ronnie James Dio has passed away at age 67.  Ronnie announced after a tour last summer that he was suffering from stomach

cancer.  His wife Wendy, says that he passed away peacefully and that most of his family and friends were able to say their private goodbyes

before then.

Ronnie James Dio, who replaced Ozzy Osbourne with Black Sabbath in the 80′s is said to be one of the best voices in metal. As well as his first

album with Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell, to be the finest album in metal history.  Debate and discussion has gone on from 1980 and still

now as to which singer, Osbourne or Dio, was the life behind the band.

Dio also had a very successful solo career with  is self named Band “Dio”.  The most famous of the bands songs depicted Dio’s battle between

good and evil.  Dio also organized a all-star charity celled Hear N aid to raise money for famine relief in Africa.
