“JERSEY SHORE”

The  third season of reality show “Jersey Shore,” brought in the highest number of viewers of any MTV Telecast. The first show of the season aired Thursday night and a record number of  8.45 million viewers.

About 6 million of the Thursday night viewers were between the ages of 12 and 34 years of age, MTV said. MTV was impressed by this stating that they were pushing to attract a younger audience.

I have to say shame on them. Shame on MTV and Shame on the adults who watch and the parents of 12 year old kids who allow their children to watch.  Typically I do not put my onions into my articles as this is Faqhit which is about the the facts but this one gets me going.  I find it horrible that we think a show in which it’s glamorous to get belligerently drunk or for men to abuse women is called entertainment.
